APE (Athletic Performance Enhancement) Training is for athletes and fitness enthusiasts who want to increase power and strength, build lean muscle, lose fat, increase mobility, and improve athletic potential in any sport. In APE Training, workouts can be individualized for any fitness level by regressing, progressing, or swapping out exercises. Our commitment is to give each and every person individualized coaching by correcting form and pushing you to achieve new heights!
Team Training encompasses our sport specific strength and conditioning programs, typically set up in collaboration with sports teams. Currently we are able to provide programs for:
- Off Ice Training for Figure Skaters and Hockey
- Field sports like Soccer, Lacrosse, and Football
- Court Sports like Volleyball, Tennis, and Pickleball
- Dry Land Training for Swimming
- Combat Sports like Martial Arts and Fencing

Absolutely! We have a $25 drop in fee, but if it's your first time, you can drop in for free!
We are at The Crossover, 1717 Scottsdale Dr. Suite 110 in Leander TX. We share a space with ROI Physical Therapy.
We have 2 bathrooms, each with a shower. There are additional bathrooms in The Crossover.
APE (Athletic Performance Enhancement) was created to serve athletes and fitness enthusiasts at The Crossover in Leander TX. We offer fitness and nutrition coaching to groups and individuals looking to get fitter and unleash their inner athlete.
Abel is a dedicated endurance and strength athlete with a background in competitive soccer and cross country at the club and varsity level. His training background is in olympic lifting, marathon training, and hyrox training. He also has experience in physical therapy, working with patients at all levels, from post-surgery athletes to elderly individuals recovering from joint replacements. Driven by the love of the process, Abel continues to push the limits of performance while applying their knowledge of rehabilitation and recovery to both personal training and patient care.
Jason has been coaching since 2014, after recieving his degree in Kinesiology from SFASU and later his Nutrition Coaching Cert from Precision Nutrition in 2016. His training background is in bodyweight strength training / calisthenics, mobility, and muscle building, and loves working with athletes from sports like figure skating, fencing, swimming, dance, and gymnastics. Always looking for a challenge and always learning, Jason is constantly focused expand his training knowledge and delivering the best results possible for his clients.
